I attended a funeral at Hope for a friend. I really enjoyed the service and that led me to joining Hope church.

I love the tradition of music at Hope.  Music is lifted in praise to God through the choirs, chimes, children, instrumentalist and dance. Truly the presence of the Lord is felt through the music.

I recently came to the Distribution Center at Hope following the Tornado. I came feeling uneasy about asking for help but I had lost so much and needed help for my family. I was greeted with smiles, assurances and felt very welcome. I left feeling grateful and a little less overwhelmed by my situation.
Marshalltown citizen impacted by the Tornado

Hope is the most welcoming church I have attended.

I was a former Wonderful Wednesday student. My child will be eligible next year and I’m excited that she will be able to participate. It’s a safe place to go where you feel that the adults care. The program helps kids get a good start. Wonderful Wednesday is awesome.

What Is Your Word for 2019?

Four years ago in early January, I read author Debbie Macomber's monthly newsletter. She shared that for nearly twenty years she had selected a word to serve as a personal focus for the year. I'm not one to write a New Year's resolution, but I thought it might be a...
